Paper Description
Nga Ahuatanga
This paper introduces you to the skills of critical thought and expression fundamental to successful university study.
Paper Structure
Workload / Ngā mahi
This paper is taught through three lectures a week and one one hour workshop a week. It is assessed through Moodle exercises, 2 tests, and an essay of 1000 words. Further information about these requirements will be given as the semester unfolds.

Students are entitled to submit written work such as essays in English or Maori. Should you wish to submit in Maori, please contact the course convenor, Dassia Watkins, so that translation and marking can be organised in a timely manner.
Assessment Components
The internal assessment/exam ratio (as stated in the University Calendar) is 100:0. There is no final exam.
